Experience in the treatment of patients with ACTH-independent macronodular bilateral adrenal hyperplasia

Aim to determine the optimal tactics for examination and treatment of patients with macronadular bilateral adrenal hyperplasia.
 Material methods. The study included 11 macronodular hyperplasia (main group). To compare biochemical parameters, results 26 healthy people were studied (control group).
 Results. characterized by deficiency 11-hydroxylase, 21-hydroxylase, 11-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 2 increased activity 5-reductase compared control group. these is unilateral adrenalectomy. A comparative selective blood sampling from central veins adrenals necessary select side intervention in ACTH-independent Cushing's syndrome.
 Conclusion. first step syndrome adrenalectomy, which reduces risk developing insufficiency subsequent hormone replacement therapy.
